“hey chef, can i have saturday night off, got a wedding i need to go to”
“sure, BUT, you gonna need to work Sunday instead”
I overhead this on Friday lunch.

Sunday morning, ten o clock, the phone rings….

“chef, I can’t come in to work, i overdid it last night, and
am a really bad way.”
“sure, no problems, see you tomorrow” in a very nice, sweet, (scarily
dangerous) and friendly voice.
Considering the shift starts at nine, you just Know it’s gonna be good.

 
Monday, Start of shift, 10am
Poor unfortunate person walks into work, straight into a shitstorm
froma highly irate Chef, and gets booted out the kitchen and told
never to step foot into it again.

OR you could just be like hte other stove cook and not pitch for two days, 
cause you on a bender, right before bonus time. <– Dumbass, there
goes the bonus he’s worked for all year, in one foul swoop.
