I have no idea how these got their name, but I do know that they are
easy to make, and deeply delicious.
275g sugar
3 egg yolks
450g butter
10ml vanilla essence
560g cake flour
2.5 ml salt
Cream together sugar, yolks and butter till fluffy.
Mix in remaining stuff to form a soft dough
Pipe 2cm wide stars onto greased baking pans.
Bake at 180C for about 10 minutes or until golden brown.
