Goanese Potato Curry

I made this for lunch yesterday and man was it good.It sounds very plain and a odd combination of ingredients but it works really well.

  50mm piece cinnamon

  6 cloves

  8 black peppercorns

  10ml coriander seeds

  5ml chilli

  3/8th cup dessicated coconut

  8 cloves garlic
Roast the onions in the oil, adding water as neccessary to stop it sticking, for about 5 minutes.

Add the spices and garlic – sautee 2 minutes

Add the coconut, sautee for another minute

Blend until smooth with 125ml water.

Reserve
