368 Shortbread
This has got be one of the easiest biscuits I’ve made so far. It’s also darn good, and multiplies out easily
The What
3 parts brown sugar
6 parts butter (real butter please, not that terrible margarine stuff)
8 parts cake flour
The How:
Cream together butter and sugar,
Knead in the flour til a soft dough is formed
Press into a baking pan in a 1 cm thick layer
Bake at 170C until golden brown (between 15 and 25 minutes if you use 500g butter)
