This is another standard recipe that can be dressed up in numerous variations.
900g castor sugar
770g cakeflour, sifted twice
Cream together butter and sugar until pale ands sugar has dissolved
Slowly beat in the eggs, a little at a time
Fold in flour
Pour into 2 x 25cm springform pans that have been greased,
Bake in a preheated 150C oven for about ninety minutes.
Pour into 24 prepped muffin pans
Bake at 150C for about 20-25 minutes
Allow to cool in pan for 10 minutes
Turn onto rack to cool completely.
